Part of the CTZ trio (Columbus, Tomahawk, Zeus), these closely related varieties are prized for their high alpha acid content and pungent, dank aroma. Columbus provides a robust, resinous bittering backbone and is a key ingredient in many aggressive West Coast IPAs and double IPAs.
